Inspired by the Singing Revolution in Estonia in the 1980s,
the US Civil Rights Movement,
and the Anti-Apartheid Movement in South Africa,
we draw on history to rally voices in song to heal the Earth.

How it began.
A healing encounter with nature restored classical singer Shyla Nelson Stewart's voice after a serious injury. The One Earth. One Voice. campaign is her way of giving back, and giving thanks.
That original spark ignited our movement.
It began in Vermont, United States in 2009 and was a global movement from the beginning. Having touched the hearts of over 400 million people in 75 countries, we believe the power of song can change the course of history.

A NEW TECHNOLOGY + A BOLD VISION
= A NEW HOPE.
A CALL TO ACTION.
History has proven that singing unites and powers history-making change.
What are we singing for?
Nothing less than the restoration of our planet.

Our globe.
Symbols bring people together and inspire action.
In 2012, Shyla circumnavigated the planet carrying a 14"-diameter glass globe
as symbol of our campaign...and the frailty of the Earth.
The globe and campaign reached hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

Sometimes art imitates life. The globe shattered in an accident shortly after Shyla's return.
In partnership with the world's preeminent glass blowers at Simon Pearce, a new globe,
symbolizing the new Earth, has been forged and will be presented to the United Nations.
The shards of the old globe physically - and symbolically - rest inside the new.
